On July 22, at the Qidong Grand Bridge beam erection site in Qidong city, Jiangsu province, the last 40-meter box girder was precisely lifted and placed onto the bridge pier by a girder launcher, completing the installation of all 40-meter box girders on the Shanghai-Nanjing section of the Shanghai-Nanjing-Hefei High Speed Railway.
