On May 25, the 20th Western China International Fair opened in Chengdu, Sichuan. At the fair, the China-Laos Railway stood out as a prominent example, showcasing the vibrant cooperation between China and Laos. Thieng Somsat, a business representative from Laos, shared his deep impressions, stating that previously, transporting goods from Vientiane to the border by truck took about 3 to 5 days, depending on the route and weather. Since the railway's operation, the time has been greatly shortened, making the transportation of agricultural products much more convenient and faster. The China-Laos Railway has not only accelerated transportation but also saved logistics costs, bringing tangible financial benefits to the people of Laos. The railway has injected new vitality into Laos's transport and trade exchanges.
