On May 20, the first Central Asia freight train of 2025 departed from the Wujie Third Yard at Tianjin Port, traveling via Horgos directly to Tashkent. Fifty containers loaded with auto parts, machinery, construction materials and home appliances are bound for Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan. The launch of this direct Central Asia freight train will further smooth the international logistics channel between Tianjin and Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) member states, injecting new momentum into SCO economic and trade cooperation.
